First of all, I have done research into this, and it is true. I could do research into it more, but I assume that it has something to do with eating meat on Sunday, and that being the Sabbath.
Secondly, it may be stupid and i see a lot of “I ate a burger and I’m not in prison”, and even a, “I saw a police officer eating one Sunday.” This all may be true, but how many police officers will actually arrest you in a restaurant for eating a burger? Also, how many will actually know this law? Would you act on it if you were a mature police officer?
Lastly, two of these comments were written by “I’m so bored” and “This site is dumb”. If you really think so, don’t waste people’s time and just leave without leaving a comment.
If someone tried to fine me for eating a burger I would go to prison for murder because I love burgers and if you try to take them away from me I’ll kill you
People plug in. There are all kinds of absurd laws everywhere. Usually they’re old laws that were enacted for some seeming good reason at the time. They’re all mostly forgotten and unenforced.
So if you say that you did eat a hamburger on a Sunday…so what. If you steal a radio out of a car, it’s no less illegal just because you did it.
Which brings me to red cars on Lake…Can you imaging to crap a cop would take to fill out that paperwork for offenders…what with chances that a car radio is being stolen on Lake at the same time.
That is funny, I lived in St.Cloud, and I always at burgers on Sunday. I think this law is really stupid, because I never heard of this before anywhere around the United States. What would do if we can’t cheese burger on Sunday?
This is a law, it just states hamburgers, not burgers with any sort of fixings on top of them(such as cheeseburgers and big macs, etc. It’s a very old law, and no one really enforces it though, I did have a cop tell me this when I was younger, scared the heck outta me…

Well, sorry to say this one is true. Sadly I believe Val’s observes the law. I think that’s more because the family likes taking Sundays off.
