I don’t understand the laws that are made in this county. Due to the fact that u can go one county over and have a skunk. I understand Virginia is a Commonwealth state but this is crazy. To have such different laws from one county to another. My mother many years ago had a pet skunk she named her pepper. She had her from a baby. She bought her in the area of Mt Vernon. There was a man there that bred them as pets from the late 70’s to early 2000’s. He stopped because the laws changed so much. Pepper was one of the best pets my mom ever had. Why is it justified to have rats, chinchillas, guinea pigs, ferrets, and any other small pet but not a skunk. Everyone one of these animals bite and act nutty. But u can get them at any pet store/ shop. I truly do not understand pwc at all.
