It is illegal to discharge a gun, firearm, revolver or any kind of explosive device at a wedding. What about when not at a wedding?

I think that’s illegal in almost every state in the US. ????
It is illegal in PA to discharge a gun, firearm, revolver or any kind of explosive device at a wedding. No firing guns at weddings.
What about when not at a wedding? PA’s residents are commonly seen firing weapons at weddings and other events. The bullets have to come down somewhere, go through someone or into someone. Because you have “been doing it for years” does not make it legal, or safe.
