If you live in another state you can goto Pennsylvania to buy fireworks at a firewoks store but not if you are a resident of Pennsylvania.
We have a major fireworks dealership outside Gettysburg, Pa. near the Mason-Dixon Line. The store is divided into two sections. One section is for Marylanders only. Of course, the real question is, since the owner is a resident of Pennsylvania and the store is in Pennsylvania, how is it that he is allowed to own fireworks Pennsylvania residents are not allowed to have? Life gets complicated.
That’s no true…we can legally buy fireworks and set them off here! However there are certain stores that only sell consumer fireworks which we are NOT allowed to buy without a permit.but anyways that’s not true.I don’t understand why u guys from pa are saying that??
It’s stupid, but true. Someone from NJ can come here and buy fireworks, but they can’t set them off in NJ.
Of course, it is illegal for NJ residents to own fireworks without a license & permit. Yes, cops do sit in the parking lot & radio license plates to a NJ cop just over the bridge. They can’t pull you over just for that, but go 2 miles over the limit on the way home……
hahahhaa it’s true though. i guess it’s catered to new jersey? hahaha
This law makes no sense whatsoever. Why sell stuff in a state that can’t be used in that state?
