No Assholes on the Highway!
|People are not allowed to swear while on the highway.
Sec. 13-53. Profanity; violation of section declared misdemeanor.

(a) A person may not profanely curse and swear or use obscene language upon or near any street, sidewalk or highway within the hearing of persons passing by, upon or along such street, sidewalk or highway.
(b) A person may not act in a disorderly manner by profanely cursing, swearing or using obscene language.
(c) Any person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor.

Apparently the writers of this law never spent time on 495/The Beltway. Swearing is endemic (especially in Prince Georges County) because no car can go faster than 25 mph due to…you guessed it…traffic.
Hmm so they are saying i can’t wipe my but on the highway… interesting
I like this law. I don’t think it’s stupid at all. I’m tired of hearing profanity on the streets.
