Lamar University hates football!

The city of Beaumont banned the sport from being played at Lamar University.

    They actually do have a football team now. My college, SFA, played them for the past 3 years.

    That’s why us locals call it Boremont.. And we ripped them up every season when I was in Highschool

    Football is making a comeback at Lamar. Football tickets are on sale for the fall of 2010.

    its not banned, they just dont have a team, therefore they dont play.
