I guess a bunch of kids assulted a cop with a bunch of silly strings so they banned its sales…

    actually the kids sprayed their teacher in like elementary school or middle school and then the police were called, not that they sprayed a cop, like an above commenter, and going off on the fact that two people have said that it’s only some places, i’m gonna assume this is true.

    i’ve never been to CT but my friend is there and was one of the kids involved (looks at Nova) and told a bunch of people the story over a skype call

    this one is actually true. its in southington only. some years back a bunch of kids assaulted a cop with silly string during the apple harvest festival and the town decided to ban it. it isnt really enforced though.

    I live in Connecticut and they sell silly string at every Walgreens, Kmart, Walmart, Target, CVS, Costco, gas station and every other store you can think of.

    Makes me wonder how many of these are BS… stinks too because I was psyched to read about some of these things.
