I guess 4th of July and new years eve are pretty boring in this town.
Section 9.20.020 Unlawful uses.
It is unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to have in his or its possession, or to keep, store, use, shoot, discharge, set off ignite, manufacture, sell, give, or transport, any fireworks, pursuant to a permit obtained under the provisions of Sections 12509, 12511, 12413, 12600 et seq. and 12650 et seq. of the Health and Safety Code of the State of California.

California just shy of literally burns down every other year. I got a great idea, lets encourage patriots to burn the fucking state down!

It’s illegal in the entire state not just Norco. The only people who can get permits are those who are registered fireworks show business. Disneyland is one. And it’s not boring because a lot of businesses come to town to perform shows for the public and it takes a lot to get written permission to do so. Fireworks were made illegal to the general public because too many kids were getting seriously injured or killed playing with them.
I grew up out in San Diego CA that law has been all over CA since before I was born, you can be arrested on the spot for having a sparkler in hand be it the 4th of July or not.
Here in New York, its completely illegal to have fireworks, and you can get into a lot of trouble carrying them over state lines.
