17-1 Kite flying restricted.
It shall be unlawful for any person to fly, above an altitude of ten feet above the ground, or near any electrical conductive public utility wires or facilities, any kite or balloon which has a body or any parts, tail, string or ribbon made of any metallic or electrical conductive material.

At the time these laws were writen there was lots of wire that were bare and would shock you.
I never been able to fly one or even get it off the ground. This law doesn’t apply to me so I don’t care.
how about instead of calling laws stupid and just quoting part of it, you read the whole thing…there is a reason for not being able to fly kites over 10 feet in some places…

In the city of Philly it’s illegal for any person to go out in public if the have incontinence no matter how mild the condition.
Technically in the U.S. it’s a federal offense for anyone with muslim convictions to fly on any aircraft. Code uftt-2002 signed as law on July 10th 2002()
