Hunting license required to trap mice

A hunting license is required for anyone who plans on catching mice.

    I find this statement circulated all around the Web as if it were fact, but looking at the Cleveland Code of Ordinances (http://www.amlegal.com/library/oh/cleveland.shtml), I can’t find any such law. Laws against failure to abate infestations, laws against willfully killing others’ pets… yes. But hunting licenses are moot in those situations. 🙂
