Only people that have a problem with this are alcoholics.
This is mainly to Cassie. Certain cities and counties allow you to sell liquor of all kinds until 2 AM on-premise with a license. Now yes you need a license to sell liquor but an additional license gives you more time to sell liquor. In Houston, liquor of all kinds may be purchased on-premise 7 AM-2 AM Monday-Saturday, but only wine and liquor may be purchased from midnight-2 AM Monday, liquor saled are forbidden on Sunday from 1 AM-noon, 2 AM-noon w/an additional license but alcohol (and only alcohol) may be sold from 10 AM-noon if accompanied by food. Off-premise is 7 AM-midnight Monday-Saturday and midnight-1 AM and noon-midnight Sunday for beer and wine and hard liquor is 10 AM-9 PM Monday-Saturday. No hard liquor sales on or off premise on 1/1, Thanksgiving Day or 12/25 and the following Monday if 1/1 or 12/25 are a Sunday
And mind you that is everywhere in Texas not just Houston.
As a Tabc licensed Cashier Monday-friday beer sales start at 7 a.m and end at midnight. Saturday is 7 a.m to 1 a.m and Sunday sales do not start until noon and end at midnight. Most registers won’t even allow you to ring beer or any other alcoholic beverage up until it is exactly 7 a.m on the dot and will not let you ring it up past midnight.. the only way you’re buying beer at 2 a.m is in a bar and last call is always a few before 2
Actually, you can buy beer and wine till 1 am on Saturday/Sunday morning.
Dude I live in Texas and before I turn 21 it’s 2 am you can buy beer any place that sell beer on Sunday
That’s a fucking stupid way to put it.
