Ok I live in this stupid state, at least for a little bit longer. All I want to know is who the hell do they fine for this, do they fly to heave and fine god, I mean come on people what the f**k.
Ok so this law exsists because of things like the big damn bridge, which uses “locks” to more ships from an area of low elivation to a higher elevation on the river, if a bridge leaves its locks open it can result in flooding down river. This is why the law is in place.
I think the law is very stupid and whoever made it needs their butts kicked. And the sad thing about it is every state has dumb laws. Some of them are worse then this one. For example it’s illegal for frogs to croak after 11 p.m. in Memphis, Tn. So before you start bad mouthing a state for its dumb laws maybe you should look at what your state has.

This is not a law in the State of Arkansas, it is a ‘Good-will’ ordinance of the City of Little Rock, and the Army Corps of Engineers (who operate locks and dams) are to pay the fine.
Clayton is right the Army Corps gets the fine.
I live in arkansas to and thats bullshit. And if it goes down we get a fine for that to. lol

Well Emily, it’s pretty simple, the jail is on Main street… so they just open the doors and the river flows right in without putting up a fight.
