This is a retarded post…shot my first 2 pheasant with a 12 guage shotgun this is my step dad’s, then I shot my first whitetail doe with a 270 that is my mom’s… First time I shot a gun was a 104 at the age of 7. Now I got an AK for Christmas and this Christmas I got a 9mm handgun. Both will be mine when I move out and/or become of age.
Why would you let a kid but a gun at all or have a gun ? This part should change . No guns to kids at all ever. And cap postal is illegal? Sorry gun shop guy . Make your buck some where else.
Sorry to have to say this… I live in KC and all you have to do is read the paper everyday, or visit county lock up. I think cap guns are a better idea…
Actually, you are required to be 18 years of age or older by law to purchase any firearm, including airguns, or cap pistols. Hunting Rifles may be purchased if you’re 18, but you cannot buy the ammunition. You cannot purchase a handgun in the state of Missouri until you’re 21, and you cannot be licensed to carry a concealed weapon until the age of 23.
However, there is not law in place that disallows a parent or guardian from purchasing BB guns, cap pistols or air rifles for their children, even if they’re minors.
look, you can not buy a gun until your 18, federaly you have to register any firearm at the time of purchase, and we all know that the feds are not going to let a 8yr old buy any firearm. if you sell one of your personal firearms you are responsible to write a reciept to the one buying the weapon and send atleast a written note to the NRA telling them the firearm is not in your possesion and who it belongs to.
How stupid can you be. Both of my children have cap pistol’s and they enjoy playing with them. One of them is ten and the other is four and i would never consider letting either of them purchasing a shotgun, or even using one until they are in the middle to late teen and they prove to me that they are responsible enough to use one.
