All Cell Phones Must be Turned Off When in a Car
All cell phones/bluetooth devices shall become unusable upon entering a vehicle. Person needs to be out of vehicle and at least 3 feet away from the vehicle for cell phones to work. Penalty for finding ways around would be punishable by 2 years in jail.

Texting in California is illegal unless you are married to the Governor, who will repremand you, if your caught. Interesting but true. Next time you get a ticket for texting and driving, plead your case to the governor. Although texting while driving drunk gets MADD really upset.
So if you are hurt, having a baby, pinned in an accident, or some maniac is trying to “get” you, you CAN call for help. You only have to get out, run or crawl, and dial frantically.
